I have always loved science and helping people, so becoming a doctor was a perfect choice for me. I did my medical school training at Oregon Health and Science Center (OSHU). I came back to Texas to be near family and complete my residency in emergency medicine at the University of Texas at Herman Hospital. Since graduation, I have spent the majority of my 20 years’ experience working in major trauma centers. I have been a medical director for a Level 2 Trauma Center and also spent 10 years as a medical director for an air ambulance service. I love everything emergency medicine, but also love hiking, fishing and going to Mavericks games with my wife and 9-year-old daughter.
