Bio
I became interested in medicine because I have a love for science and for people. I attended Creighton University in Nebraska for my medical degree and I completed my residency at the University of Arizona. I had the opportunity to work for and publish with Nobel Prize laureate Harold Varmus. I have been practicing emergency medicine for over 25 years in positions such as Regional Medical Director and Vice President of Medical Operations for a national health care provider. I transitioned from corporate medicine to become a founding Managing Partner at Advance ER. I am active in the Dallas community with my wife and 2 children. I enjoy bicycling and other outdoor activities in my spare time.
