❤️A Small Card. A Big Thank You. Advance ER Supports Valentines for Vets
Advance ER is proud to support our veterans by partnering with the Texas Veterans Land Board’s statewide Valentines for Vets initiative. This program brings communities across Texas together, to show appreciation and gratitude to veterans living in state homes.
Locally, our team is collecting Valentine’s cards at both Advance ER Dallas locations and will personally deliver them to help honor those who have served our country.
We invite our staff, patients, and community members to join us in this meaningful effort. Valentine’s cards can be dropped off at either location by midnight on February 3rd—a small gesture that makes a big impact for our veterans.
✨Nourishing Families, Supporting Hope: Advance ER and the Ronald McDonald House
Advance ER is proud of our ongoing commitment to the Rotary Club of Park Cities and the Ronald McDonald House by preparing meals for families of hospitalized children on the third Monday of every month. We aim to provide comfort and care to families during an incredibly challenging time, and we are grateful for the opportunity to serve our community.
It is a privilege to contribute our time and compassion to an organization that brings warmth, support, and hope when it is needed most.
🎁Community Giving: Advance ER Partners with Community Partners of Dallas
Advance ER is proud to partner with Community Partners of Dallas (CPD) in support of their mission to restore safety, dignity, and comfort to children who have experienced abuse, neglect, or trauma.
Each year, thousands of children across Dallas County enter CPS care—often arriving with little more than the clothes they are wearing. Through CPD’s emergency assistance programs, caseworkers are able to quickly provide children with new essentials, including clothing, shoes, hygiene items, toys, school supplies, and backpacks filled with comforting items designed to ease the fear of entering an unfamiliar environment. For a child removed from a dangerous or unstable situation, the first hours can be overwhelming. Having something soft, warm, and truly their own can make a powerful difference.
As part of our ongoing commitment, Advance ER provides monthly donations of comfort items for children who have been abused or neglected. These include backpacks filled with glow-in-the-dark blankets and pillows—items chosen not only for their practicality, but for the reassurance they bring. These comfort items offer warmth when a child has no personal belongings, a sense of security in unfamiliar surroundings, and a bit of wonder through glow-in-the-dark stars and patterns that help children feel less alone at night. For many, this becomes the first stable possession they have during a frightening and uncertain time.
Through these donations, Advance ER is honored to help CPD ensure every child receives something new, comforting, and meaningful—a small but powerful reminder that they are valued, cared for, and never alone.
Advance ER will also be distributing Change Is Good jars for families to collect spare change throughout the year. These donations support CPD’s programs that provide immediate resources and comfort to children entering CPS care. This holiday contribution represents the heart of Advance ER: showing up when it matters most, not only for our patients, but for the vulnerable children in our community.
